Why open source?
We care more about this movement succeeding than keeping trade secrets to ourselves.
We know we need to look after ourselves as well to survive, and we believe that leading with collaboration — like open-sourcing as much as possible — will open more doors and abundance than the vulnerability it causes.
We also believe that transparency is a part of community. Since we want a collaborative and synergistic relationship with our residents, we are willing to show what’s under the hood to lessen the information gap and stay accountable.
